Description

A progressive acute care teaching hospital in upper Florida is seeking an Assistant Director of Pharmacy to support daily operations, staff development, and quality initiatives. This is a great opportunity to step into leadership within a respected health system known for strong clinical programs, advanced technology (on the Epic EMR), and a supportive partnership with a national pharmacy services organization.

Candidates must have 3+ years of hospital pharmacist experience including at least one year of leadership. A Bachelor’s in Pharmacy is required (PharmD preferred). Florida now offers a rapid license transfer process with no state law exam for eligible pharmacists. Retail-only backgrounds do not meet requirements, and visa sponsorship is not available.
