Pharmacy Manager Supervisor
JOB-3247700
A respected, not-for-profit health system in northeastern Kansas is seeking a Retail Outpatient Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) to lead a community-focused pharmacy. This is a rare opportunity to step into a leadership role with incredible work-life balance—Tuesday through Friday (4x10s), no weekends, no holidays, and no call. You’ll oversee a steady, manageable script volume alongside an experienced support team, while enjoying the autonomy and close-knit, “mom-and-pop” culture that prioritizes relationships with patients and staff. New grads, retail pharmacists, and those seeking a transition into leadership are all encouraged to apply.
Candidates must have a PharmD or BS in Pharmacy (new grads welcome) and be eligible for Kansas licensure (employer willing to wait if needed). Retail or outpatient experience is highly welcomed, but not required. The ideal candidate is confident, self-directed, and motivated to lead from the front—someone who enjoys building relationships and taking ownership of their pharmacy. 340B experience is a plus but not necessary.
This opportunity is based in a charming, small-town community in northeastern Kansas, offering a cost of living below the national average and a welcoming, family-friendly environment. Enjoy the safety, simplicity, and strong sense of community that rural living provides—while still being within easy driving distance of larger metro areas for weekend trips, dining, and entertainment.
